The City will benefit from this line and a station in the Santa Clarita Valley. It is our belief that both the I-5 and Highway 14 alignments will benefit Santa Clarita. Therefore the City does not choose to recommend a particular -,, alignment at this time. We do ask that as the study progresses that Caltrans . ; 1 and its consultants work with City staff before determining station locations or designs in the Santa Clarita Valley for both alignments. We thank you for allowing us the opportunity to comment on this important project and hope to continue working with Caltrans in the development of this much needed infrastructure project. Sincerely, George Pederson Mayor hispeed.spt;dk 0 PRINTED ON RECYCLED PAPER
