CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Smyth called to order the Special Meeting at 5:02 p.m.
ROLL CALL
All Councilmembers were present, with the exception of Mayor Pro Tern Miranda, who arrived
at 5:05 p.m.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION FOR AGENDIZED ITEMS
Addressing the Council was Doug (no last name provided).
CLOSED SESSION
Joseph Montes, City Attorney, advised of the need to conduct a Closed Session for the purpose
of the matters below and commented that no items are related to mobile home parks.

Mayor Smyth recessed the meeting to Closed Session at 5:04 p.m.
RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION
Mayor Smyth reconvened the meeting to Open Session at 6:19 p.m.
CITY ATTORNEY ANNOUNCEMENT
City Attorney Joseph Montes announced that in Closed Session the City Council unanimously
approved participation as an amicus in the Johnson v. City of Grants Pass lawsuit pending before
the United States Supreme Court, and reported that Councilmember Weste left the Closed
Session at 5:25 p.m. to recuse herself from participating in the real property negotiation item.
ADJOURN
Mayor Smyth adjourned the Special Meeting at 6:20 p.m.
