CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Smyth called to order the Special Meeting at 4:30 p.m.
City Councii Chambers
ROLL CALL
All Councilmembers were present, with the exception of Councilmember Gibbs.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION FOR AGENDIZED ITEMS
No requests to speak were received.
CLOSED SESSION
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION
Initiation of litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(4) - one matter
RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION - TO BE HELD IN THE CARL BOYER ROOM
Mayor Smyth recessed the meeting to Closed Session at 4:31 p.m
RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION
Mayor Smyth reconvened the meeting to Open Session at 4:40 p.m.
CITY ATTORNEY ANNOUNCEMENT
City Attorney Joseph Montes announced that in closed session with respect to the potential
initiation of litigation item, the City Council voted unanimously to authorize the filing of a civil
nuisance abatement action against the property located at 27101 Maben Avenue and to seek the
appointment of a receiver to get the property cleaned up.
ADJOURN
Mayor Smyth adjourned the Special Meeting at 4:40 p.m.
