CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Miranda called to order the Special Meeting of the City Council at 5:16 p.m.
ROLL CALL
All Councilmembers were present.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION FOR AGENDIZED ITEMS —
Addressing the City Council was Douglas (no last name provided) regarding -mobile home park
litigation concerns and Tony Maldonado regarding part-time/seasonal City employee wages.
Joseph Montes, City Attorney, stated that the pending litigation item had no connection to
mobile home parks.
CLOSED SESSION
City Attorney Joseph Montes advised of the need to conduct a Closed Session for the purpose of
holding a:
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION
Initiation of litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(4) - one matter
CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS
Government Code Section 54957.6
Agency Negotiator: City Manager or designee
Unrepresented Employees: All positions not represented by SEW Local 721
Government Code Section 54957.6
Agency Negotiator: City Manager or designee
Represented Employees: All positions represented by SEW Local 721
RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION - TO BE HELD IN THE CARL BOYER ROOM
Mayor Miranda recessed the meeting to Closed Session at 5:19 p.m.
RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION
Mayor Miranda reconvened the meeting to Open Session at 6:25 p.m.
CITY ATTORNEY ANNOUNCEMENT
City Attorney Joseph Montes announced that the Council unanimously approved the filing of a
civil nuisance abatement action, seeking the appointment of a receiver, for the property located at
28797 Bouquet Canyon Road.
ADJOURN
Mayor Miranda adjourned the Special Meeting at 6:25 p.m.
