WELCOME
A welcome message was provided by City Manager Ken Striplin.
INVOCATION
Pastor Julius Harper from Santa Clarita Christian Fellowship delivered the invocation.
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called toorder by Mayor Bill Miranda at 3:12 p.m.
ROLL CALL
All Councilmembers were present.
FLAG SALUTE
Albert Rodriguez, United States Marine Corps Sergeant, led the flag salute which was followed
by the National Anthem, performed by Ryan Schutte of Special Needs Athletes and Peers.
STATE OF THE CITY PRESENTATION
Mayor Miranda welcomed the audience, recognizing dignitaries and local officials; announced
the debut of the Emergency Mobile Command Unit with funding secured in the State Budget in
coordination with Assemblywoman Schiavo; and thanked 5th District Supervisor Kathryn Barger
for her support in making the transfer of William S. Hart Park possible while announcing the
theme for this year's State of the City, Celebrating Hart Park: History in Every Frame.
Following the Mayor's comments, each Councilmember introduced segments of a video
presentation highlighting 2025 in the City of Santa Clarita.

There were no speakers.
ADJOURN
Mayor Miranda adjourned the meeting at 4:16 p.m.
