A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA CLARITA REQUESTING THE
CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL TO CONTINUE TO
PROVIDE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT WITHIN THE
CITY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Clarita is newly
incorporated and the consideration and decision on the
question of the method of providing local law enforcement
will require lengthy study and negotiations.
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED THAT:
Section 1. The California Highway Patrol is
respectfully requested to continue to furnish traffic,
enforcement within the recently incorporated City of Santa
Clarita.
