RESOLUTION NO. 87-6
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA CLARITA AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND INTERIM CITY CLERK TO PREPARE,
EXECUTE AND FILE THE STATEMENT OF
BOUNDARY CREATION REQUIRED BY SECTION
54900 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA AND ORDERING THE
UTILLIZATON OF THE REGULAR COUNTY
ASSESSMENT ROLE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa
Clarita is required to cause to be filed a Statement of
Boundary Creation required by Section 54900 of the
Government Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA CLARITA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized
to prepare and execute the Statement of Boundary Creation of
the City of Santa Clarita, California, to file the same with
all appropriate State and County officials, and to pay any
filing fee therefore as may be required by Section 54902.5
of the Government Code.
Section 2. The City of Santa Clarita shall utilize
the regular County Assessment role of the County of Los
Angeles, California.
