A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA CLARITA REQUESTING
CONTINUATION OF SERVICES BY THE COUNTY OF
LOS ANGELES
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Clarita was incorporated
on December 15, 1987, as a general la
California; and w city of the State of
WHEREAS, Section 57384 of the Government Code of
the State of California provides for the continuation of
services by the County to the area of the County which is
now the City of Santa Clarita.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA CLARITA RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Board of Supervisors of the County
Of Los Angeles i.s hereby requested to continue to furnish,
without additional charge, to the City of Santa Clarita
services furnished prior to incorporation to the area of the
County which is now the City of Santa Clarita. It is
further requested that said services be furnished for the
remainder of the current fiscal year or until the City
Council requests discontinuance of a service or services,
whichever first occurs.
Section 2. The City Manager is directed to deliver
a copy of 'Eh— sResolution to the clerk of the Board of
Supervisors of Los Angeles County.
