A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA CLARITA APPROVING MEMBERSHIP
IN THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES
AND THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF
GOVERNMENTS AND APPOINTING MEMBERS THERETO
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Clarita
on November 23, 1987, as a general was incorporated
law city of the State
Of California; and
WHEREAS, the City is eligible for in
membership
various organizations representing the interests in
cities; andof
WHEREAS, the City will benefit from membership in
such organizations;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA CLARITA RESOLVES that the Interim City Manager take
the necessary steps for the City to
California Cities and the Los Angeles join the League of
Of Governments. County Association
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED BY by City Council this
16th day of December, 1987.
