A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
^ CITY OF SANTA CLARITA PROVIDING FOR THE
ENFORCEMENT OF STATE LAWS AND REGULATIONS
RELATING TO PUBLIC HEALTH BY THE COUNTY
HEALTH OFFICER
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Clarita was incorporated
on December 15, 1987, as a general law city of the State of
California; and
WHEREAS, state law requires the enforcement of
certain laws pertaining to public health by the County
Health Officer;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Santa Clarita resolves that the County health Officer of the
County of Los Angeles is authorized to enforce state laws
and regulations relating to public health within the
boundaries of the City, and.the Interim City Manager is
directed to provide a copy of this resolution to the County
Health Officer.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of
December , 1987.
