HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-04-14 - RESOLUTIONS - SANDIST ANNEX 224 (2)RESOLUTION NO. 88-46 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND ACCEPTING NEGOTIATED EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY TAX REVENUES RESULTING FROM ANNEXATION TO COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NUMBER 26 AS ANNEXATION NUMBER 224 WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 99 and 99.1 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, prior to the effective date of any jurisdictional change which will result in a special district providing a new service, the governing bodies of all local agencies who receive an apportionment of the property tax from the area must determine the amount of property tax revenues from the annual tax increment to be exchanged between the affected agencies and approve and accept the negotiated exchange of property tax revenues by resolution, and WHEREAS, the governing bodies of the agencies signatory hereto have made determinations of the amount of property tax revenues from the annual tax increments to be exchanged as a result of the annexation to County Sanitation District No. 26 entitled "Annexation No. 224 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: 1. The negotiated exchange of property tax revenues resulting from the annexation of territory to County Sanitation District No. 26 in the annexation entitled "Annexation No. 224 of is approve and accepted. 2. For each fiscal year commencing on and after July 1, 1989 or after the effective date of this jurisdictional change, which- ever is later, the County Auditor shall transfer to County Sanitation District No. 26 a total of 2.3039 % of the Annual Tax Increment attributable to t e land area encompassed within Annexation No. 224 . Said percentage has been determined on the basis of the following contributions. - Agency- Percent General County Purposes Fund 1.3094 Public Library 0.1324 Consolidated Fire Protection District 0.4654 Flood Control District 0.0262 City of Santa Ciarita 0.2103 Castaic Lake Water Agency 0.1415 I 2.2852 Ird I 9 3.
