ORDINANCE NO. 89- 5
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA,
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 88-17 REGARDING
THE PERSONNEL MANAGER
WHEREAS, on January 10, 1989, the City Council of
the City of Santa Clarita adopted Ordinance No. 88-52,
establishing a personnel system for City staff; and
WHEREAS, the passage of the personnel system
renders Ordinance No. 88-17, establishing a Personnel
Manager, unnecessary; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to repeal
Ordinance No. 88-17 as a housekeeping measure;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Santa Clarita, California, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 88-17, amending the
Municipal Code to establish the office of Personnel Manager,
is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 14th day of February
1989.

Ordinance No. 89-5 was regularly introduced and placed
upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 24th day of January , 1989 . That
thereafter, said Ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a
regular meeting of the City Council on the 14th day of
February , 19 89 , by the following vote, to wit:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
