HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-04-25 - RESOLUTIONS - ATC MONIES MAINT OF STREETS (2)RESOLUTION NO. 89-38 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING AN ALLOCATION OF COUNTY AID TO CITIES (ATC) MONIES FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF SELECT STREETS WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has reserved certain monies for the City of Santa Clarita from the County Aid to Cities (ATC) fund; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to expend the amount of $155,180 from the Aid to Cities (ATC) fund apportioned for currently approved Select System Streets (excluding State Highways), on file with the Division of Highways, State of California, and incorporated herein by reference. This amount constitutes the City of Santa Clarita's 1988/89 ATC allocation. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, AND FIND AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The County of Los Angeles is hereby requested to allocate the sum of $155,180 from the Aid to Cities (ATC) fund to the City of Santa Clarita. Section 2. This City Council hereby requests that all monies allocated to the City, when approved by the County, be transmitted to the City for disbursement. Section 3. The City Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the County Director of Public Works for processing by the Board of Supervisors.
