A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA
APPOINTING TWO (2) DIRECTORS AND TWO (2)
ALTERNATES TO THE SANTA CLARITA FINANCING AUTHORITY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, on June 15, 1989 the City Council approved a Joint
Powers Agreement between the City and the County of Los Angeles
creating the Santa Clarita Road Financing Authority (the
"Authority"); and
WHEREAS, the City appoints two (2) Directors to the
Authority, which Directors may or may not be City Councilmembers or
City employees; and
WHEREAS, the City also appoints two (2) alternates for such
Directors, which Alternates have the same qualifications; and
WHEREAS, the term of such Directors and Alternates shall be
two (2) years or until they leave office or cease to be public
employees; and
WHEREAS, such Directors and Alternates shall serve without
compensation.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council resolves
that ,Tanis Floidi- and Howard "Buck" McKeon are appointed
as Directors, and Ken Pulskamo
and Dennis Koontz as their respective Alternates.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 15th day of
1989.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by
the City Council of the City of Santa Clarita at a regular meeting
thereof, held on the 1Fth day of ,lune , 1989 by
the following vote of the Council:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Boyer, Darcy, Koontz, McKeon, Hedit
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
