BACKGROUND
The City's first Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded activity, the
drainage study has been completed. The study's findings significantly impact
the City's planned East Newhall area public improvements -already approved by the
Community Development Commission (CDC).
The City has been informed by the CDC that a revision in the scope of work and
cost for this activity requires public notification and participation before.
proceeding with the implementation of the project and expending any CDBG funds.
The City Council to authorize a public hearing to be held on October 9, 1990 to
take testimony on Community Development Block Grant, East Newhall Public
Improvements project.
