See Exhibit A. An evaluation of traffic conditions at.this location has been conducted. Based on the results of this evaluation, it is recommended that southbound traffic on Magic Mountain Lane be required to stop before entering Stillmore Street. This will create a one-way stop at a "T" intersection. See Exhibit B. CONDITIONS Stillmore Street is an east/west residential collector street with curb and sidewalk on each side. The roadway is 40 . feet wide and driven as two travel. lanes, one in each direction. On -street parking is permitted. The prima facie speed limit is 25 mph. Magic Mountain Lane is a residential collector street that intersections from the north to form a "T" intersection with Stillmore Street. The roadway is driven as two travel lanes, one in each direction. Total roadway improvements do not exist at this time. DISCUSSION There are a number of factors which suggest that stop controls would benefit the intersection. They are: • The location is the intersection of two residential collector streets. • Traffic volumes are heavier than normal traffic for a residential intersection.
