The roadway is 40 feet wide with curb and sidewalk on each side. The street is driven as one travel lane in each direction. On -street parking is permitted. The prima facie speed limit is 25 -mph. DISCUSSION It is believed that the proposed stop control would be beneficial at this intersection for the following reasons: • The location is comprised of a residential collector street and a residential local street. • The proposed stop control will provide a more positive right-of-way control for circulating traffic in this neighborhood which has sixteen "T" intersections and only one other four-way intersection. For these reasons the stop controls are recommended.
