HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991-10-22 - AGENDA REPORTS - PM 22010 PHASE 1 DEDICATION (2)AGENDA REPORT City Manager Approval v Item to be presented b CONSENT CALENDAR Lynn M Harris DATE: October 22, 1991 SUBJECT: PARCEL MAP NO. 22010, PHASE I.OF PARENT PARCEL MAP 16281 APPROVAL OF THE MAP AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE OFFERS OF DEDICATION CINEMA DRIVE, APPROXIMATELY -535 FEET SOUTHEAST OF VALENCIA BOULEVARD DEPARTMENT: Community Development BACKGROUND The Tentative Parent Parcel Map was originally approved by the Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning on November 3, 1987, and an additional time extension was granted to November 3, 1990 by the City of Santa Clarita's Community Development Department. Thereafter, it was determined that submittal requirements were met to constitute a timely filing. The developer is subdividing 12.75. conditions of approval have been met, the Fact Sheet and the map has been Engineer. The map is ready for the dedications. Part 1. Approve the map. acres into 9 commercial parcels. The the fees have been paid as indicated on checked to the satisfaction of the City Council's approval and acceptance of the Part 2. Accept on behalf of the public, .the offers of dedication for streets, sewers, storm drains .and other dedications as stated on the map. Part 3. Approve and accept work agreements and improvement securities required as a condition of recordation of the map. Part 4. Make findings as follows: a. That this project will not violate any of the provisions of Sections 66474, 66474.1 .and 66474.6 of the Subdivision Map Act. b. That the proposed subdivision, together with the provisions for its design and improvement, is consistent with the general plan required by Article 5 (commencing with Section 65300) of Chapter 3 of Division 1 of the Government Code, or any specific plan adopted pursuant to Article 8 (commencing with Section 65450) of Chapter 3 of Division of the Government Code. That the development of the property in the manner set forth on the subject division of land will not unreasonably interfere with the free and complete exercise of any public entity and/or public utility rights-of-way and/or easements within the subject division of land, pursuant to Section 66436(a)(3)(A)(i-vii) of the Subdivision Map Act. Part 5. Instruct the City Clerk to endorse the Certificate on the face of the map of Parcel Map No. 22010, which embodies the approval of said map and the acceptance of the dedications shown thereon.
