HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991-10-08 - AGENDA REPORTS - PRINCESSA BTN SIERRA HWY (2)AGENDA REPORT City Manager A Item to be pre CONSENT CALENDAR DATE: October 8, 1991 SUBJECT: NORTH SIDE OF VIA PRINCESSA`BETWEEN SIERRA HIGHWAY AND STATE ROUTE 14 - PRI.CE CLUB TRACT MAP NO. 50484, PHASE I OF PARENT TRACT 50151 APPROVAL OF THE MAP AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE OFFERS OF DEDICATION DEPARTMENT: Community Development BACKGROUND The Tentative Map was originally approved by the City of Santa Clarita Planning Commission on December 18, 1990 by Resolution 90-57. The developer is subdividing 15.78 acres into two commercial lots. The conditions of approval have been met, the fees have been paid as indicated on the Fact Sheet and the map has been checked to.the satisfaction of the City Engineer. The map is ready for the Council's approval and acceptance of the dedications. This project is included in the annexation and public improvement agreement between the City and the Price Company et al, which was approved by the Council on February 26, 1991. The map is in 'accordance and meets the requirements of that agreement. RECOMMENDATION 1. Approve the map. 2. Accept on behalf of the public, the dedication for streets, sewers, and other dedications as stated on the map. 3. Approve and accept work agreements and improvement securities required as a condition of recordation of the map. 4. Make findings as.follows: a. That this project will not violate any of the provisions of Sections 66474, 66474.1 and 66474.6 of the Subdivision Map Act. b. That .the proposed subdivision, together with the provisions for its design and improvement, is consistent with the general plan required by -Article 5 (commencing with Section 65300) of Chapter 3 of Division 1 of the Government Code, or any specific plan adopted pursuant to Article 8 (commencing with Section 65450) of Chapter 3 of Division of the Government Code. That the development of the property in the manner set forth on the subject division of land will not unreasonably interfere with the free and complete exercise of any public entity and/or public utility rights-of-way and/or easements within the subject division of land, pursuant to Section 66436(a)(3)(A)(i-ii) of the Subdivision Map Act. S. Instruct the City Clerk to endorse the Certificate on the face of the map of Tract Map No. 50151 which embodies the approval of said map and the acceptance of the dedications shown thereon.
