AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE AT
TITLE 22
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA,
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Santa Clarita Municipal Code is amended at
Title 22 relating to the Fire Code to read as follows:
TITLE 22
FIRE CODE
Chapter 22.01
ADOPTION OF THE FIRE CODE
22.01.010 Fire Code Adopted. There is hereby adopted by
reference that certain Fire Code, 1988 Edition, known and as
designated as Title 22 of the Los Angeles County Code as adopted by
Los Angeles County Ordinance No. 2947.
At least one copy of the Los Angeles County Code and the
Uniform Fire Code, 1988 Edition, have been deposited in the office
of the City Clerk and shall be at all times maintained by the Clerk
I^ for use and examination by the public.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause a summary of the same to be published
as provided by law.

duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City Council on
