HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-06-23 - AGENDA REPORTS - PM 22398 DEDICATE (2)CONSENT CALENDAR DATE: June 23, 1992 AGENDA REPORT City Manager SUBJECT: PARCEL MAP NO. 22398 APPROVAL OF THE,MAP AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE OFFER OF DEDICATION FOR NADAL STREET, WESTERLY OF WHITES CANYON ROAD DEPARTMENT: Community Development BACKGROUND The Tentative Parcel Map was originally, approved by -the Planning Commission on July 16, 1991 by Resolution No. P91-33. The developer is subdividing 7.96 acres into two single-family lots and a 4.14 acre lot which has been dedicated to the City for a future library site. The conditions of approval have been met, the fees have been paid as indicated on the Fact Sheet, and the map has been checked to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. The map is ready for the Council's approval and acceptance of the dedications. RECOMMENDATIONS Part 1. Approve the map. Part 2. Accept on behalf of. the public, the offers- of dedication for streets and the easement for slope purposes. Part 3. Make findings as follows: a. That this project is ,consistent with the provisions of Sections 66474; 66474.1 and 66474.6 of the Subdivision Map Act and should be approved. b. That the proposed subdivision, together with the provisions for this design and improvement, is consistent with the general plan required by Article 5 (commencing with Section 65300) of Chapter 3 of Division 1 of the Government Code, or any specific plan adopted pursuant to Article 8 (commencing with Section 65450) of Chapter, 3 of Division of the Government Code. That the development of the property in the manner set forth on the subject division of land will not unreasonably interfere with the free and complete exercise of any public entity and/or public utility rights-of-way and/or easements within the subject division of land, pursuant to Section 66436(a)(3)(A)(i-vii) of the Subdivision Map Act. Part 4. Instruct the City Clerk to endorse the Certificate on the face of the map of Parcel Map No. 22398, which embodies the approval of said map and the acceptance of the dedications shown thereon. Part 5. Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Santa Clarita to endorse the owner's statement on the face of the final map of Parcel Map No. 22398. Part 6. Instruct -the City Treasurer to endorse the _Special Assessment Certificate on the face of the map of Parcel Map No. 22398, which indicates that all special assessments levied by the City have been paid.
