The Metrolink Station is located on Soledad Canyon Rd.. on the Bermite Property, adjacent to the Saugus Speedway, in the City of Santa Clarita. The Council and Commissions will travel the Santa Clarita Line to Union Station, Los Angeles, after brief stops at the Sylmar, Burbank, and Glendale Stations. At Union Station, they will celebrate the start of the Metrolink. At 11:00 a.m., a Santa Clarita Transit bus will bring them back to the Santa Clarita Station. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Travel to Union Station and return by bus to Santa Clarita and discuss the Metrolink.
