Community Services Department requested and received approval in the 1992-93 budget Maintenance and Operation fund.for overlay and repairs of asphalt. The asphalt around the Newhall maintenance shop is in need of replacement. A request for sealed bids was advertised, with the following bids received on June 10, 1993. SUPPLIER 1. -Rick Franklin Construction 2. Reliable Paving 3. R. C. Becker & Son, Inc. CITY AMOUNT Santa Clarita $11,255.50 Van Nuys $11,837.00 Santa Clarita $12,777.77 The Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department has budgeted $12,000.00 for asphalt upgrades for City parks. We have determined that the Newhall maintenance shop area is the most in need of repairs.
