HomeMy WebLinkAbout1993-03-23 - RESOLUTIONS - ST AND ROAD FUNDS APPLICATION (2)RESOLUTION 93-33 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA '^ CLARITA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR LOCAL STREETS AND ROADS FUNDS AUTHORIZED UNDER ARTICLE 8 OF THE TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT. WHEREAS, Article 8 of the Transportation Development Act provides that cities can use eligible funds of the County's Local Transportation Fund for local streets and road expenditures when the City's unmet transportation needs have been satisfied; and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Clarita has met its unmet public transportation needs through an agreement with the Los Angeles County Transportation Commission to provide public transportation in the City of Santa Clarita; and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Clarita desires to use the remaining portion of its allocation of Transportation Development Act funds for minor street and road improvements. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. To authorise Steve Stark, Director of Finance, as the City's authorised signature and designated contact person. Section 2. To apply for all funds available to the City of Santa Clarita allocated for local street and road improvements.
