Foy CONSENT CALENDAR DATE: December 13, 1994 SUBJECT: Cable Television Equipment Bid DEPARTMENT: Management Services BACKGROUND On October 12, 1994, the City went out to bid seeking proposals for television equipment and installation for the purpose of implementing a two -camera fixed operation in the city council chambers to televise city council meetings. Two bids were received by the City by the due date. City staff believes that two bids is insufficient and would like to reject all bids and go out to bid again to obtain more bids for this project. RECOMMENDATION Reject both bids. Instruct staff to go out to bid again for public access equipment. 00000 Agenda Item:
