Wednesday, November 2, 1994 Main Conference Room 23920 Valencia Blvd., 1st Floor Santa Clarita, CA. 91355 MINUTES The meeting of the City Council adjourned study session of November 1, 1994, was called to order at 4:13 p.m. by Mayor Pro -Tem, Joanne Darcy. Roll call was taken by the City Clerk who reported that Councilmembers Smyth and Mayor Pederson were excused. At 4:14 p.m. the Mayor Pro -Tem adjourned and called to order the Redevelopment Meeting There was no one from the public for public participation. The City Manager, George Caravalho, requested the Council to recess to closed session and stated that Council and staff have been working with the Castaic Lake Water Agency and were able to meet with them. At 4:15 p.m. the Co -Chairperson adjourned the Redevelopment meeting to the Council closed session. The City Clerk announced that the closed session was for the purpose of conference with legal counsel, existing litigation, Government Code Section 54956.9(a), Castaic Lake Water Agency vs. City of Santa Clarita and Redevelopment Agency. The City Council reconvened to the regular meeting at 5:07 p.m. The Asst. City Attorney, Elizabeth Calciano, announced that there was no action required to be reported at this time. The City Manager explained that the Council has approved a conceptual agreement and the Castaic Lake Water Agency Board will be reviewing the agreement on November 3rd. No public participation.
