SUBJECT: CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTING SERVICES
DEPARTMENT: Administrative Services
In February 1996 it became necessary to contract with Moreland and Associates for temporary
accounting services due to a long term illness in the Finance Division. At that time it was not
known how long these services would be required. It has now become apparent that the
accounting services will be necessary for an extended period of time, possibly six months to a
year.
Approve contract for professional accounting services with Moreland and Associates for a period
of one year, in an amount not to exceed $95,000, from account number 01-4610-227. Funding
for these services are available as a result of salary savings in the Finance Division. Authorize
the City Manager to sign all documents related to this contract.
