Changes in parcel acquisition size, and final negotiations has reduced the total amount to $138,967, and changed the distribution as follows: Assessor Parcel Original New Number(s) Property Owner(s) Value Value 2844-001-004, 005, Lola H, Olsen, Trustee, Et. Doty $ 27,500 $ 27,500 2844-001-009 Agajanian JRS., Inc. 73,000 W000 Total: $158,500 138 967 The property prices are consistent with recent appraisals and current market values. Funding for these acquisitions is available from a successful competitive Proposition A - Safe Neighborhood Parks Act grant application, and is currently budgeted and available in account 24-99046-227. The acquisition documents and purchase agreements for all property being acquired for the Mint Canyon River Park have been prepared and reviewed by the City Attorney, Agenda Item: The Mint Canyon River Park is one (1) of the twenty eight (28) prioritized park sites identified in the River Park Project Report which was adopted by Council on November 14, 1995. This area is located east of Sierra Highway on the north side of the Santa Clara Rivera This acquisition will provide opportunity for trail access, construction, rest stop, wildlife viewing area, habitat re -vegetation, and permanent river open space. RECOMMENDATION: City Council authorize the City Manager to sign the purchase agreements and execute all necessary documentationto complete the acquisitions as shown. Attachment:.
