TRACT NO. 31549, PRIVATE DRAIN NO. 1745
RESOLUTION NO. 97-95
DEPARTMENT: Transportation and Engineering Services
The construction of Private Drain No. 1745 has been inspected and approved by the City. The
project is located near Rainbow Glen Drive and Via Princessa. A detailed description of the
facilities is contained in Exhibit "A." The storm drains were constructed by the developer
(Kaufinan & Broad) in accordance with agreements and the Faithful Performance Bonds on file
with the City Engineer (see Exhibit "B" attached showing the location and extent of
improvements). The agreements also provide that the work shall not be deemed completed until
approved, accepted as complete, and transferred to LACFCD for maintenance.
The City and County entered into an agreement on March 14, 1989, recorded as Document
No. 89-1346418, which provides for the transfer of storm drains. The City Council must approve
a resolution authorizing the transfer to -complete the process. The transfer is then accepted and
approved by the Board of Supervisors for the LACFCD, who operates and maintains the storm
drains for public use.

improvements to the LACFCD for purposes of operation, maintenance, repair and
