Public Participation speaker's slips must be submitted to the City Clerk. Anyone wishing to address an item on the agenda should fill out a speaker's slip and submit it to the City Clerk before the item is discussed. Each person addressing the Council has three minutes in which to speak, at which time the red light on the Council dias will appear. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, if you need special assistance to participate in this meeting, please contact the General Services Division, (805) 286-4185. Notification 48 hours prior to the meeting will enable the City to make reasonable arrangements to ensure accessibility to this meeting. (28CFR 35.102-35.104 ADA Title II) Executive Meeting This time has been set aside for Councilmembers to review the agenda and obtain any further information that may be needed. Council will also discuss each individual item during the course of the meeting with the exception of the Consent Calendar which may be approved in its entirety by one motion, unless there is a request to pull an item for discussion. No action will be taken on public agenda items during the Executive Meeting. This session iso en to the public. Public Participation This time has been set aside for the public to address the City Council on items that are not on the agenda, but those items will not be acted upon by Council at this meeting other than to review and return without action or direct staff. ALL speakers must call or submit a speaker's slip to the City Clerk prior to this portion of the meeting and prepare a presentation not to exceed three minutes. The thirty minutes allowed for public input will be divided by the number of people wishing to speak, maximum time allowed will be three minutes. PROTEST HEARING: DETERMINE IF SUFFICIENT Hearing PROTEST EXISTS AND MAKE FINDINGS ON WRITTEN PROTEST AND APPROVE AND ORDER ANNEXATION [ 1 City Clerk NO. 1992-03 (SECO CANYON) AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 97-19 - A resolution to be adopted by the [ ] Staff City Council to approve findings on written protests and to approve and order Annexation No. 1992-03 (Seco Canyon). The [ ] Speakers annexation consists of approximately 416 acres of inhabited land located in the Saugus area, north of Copper Hill Drive, and east [ ] Motion and west of Seco Canyon Road. This resolution reflects a revised map of the annexation boundary and rescinds an earlier [ ] Discussion resolution showing the original boundary. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Accept public testimony, close the public hearing and [ ] Vote protest period. Adopt Resolution No. 97-44, making findings regarding written protest, and rescinding Resolution No. 97-19, or if the hearing results in a sufficient number of written protests, continue the hearing to a date certain to take appropriate action.
