CALL TO ORDER Mayor Pro Tem Jan Heidt called to order the City Council
Adjourned meeting at 6:30 p.m.
PUBLIC Speaking in favor of Annexation No. 1992-03 were Gary Catalde
PARTICIPATION representing Grace Baptist Church and Steve Hunter of Land
Design Construction.

Present: Darcy, Boyer, Heidt
Absent: Klajic, Smyth
Councilmember Boyer led the flag salute.
Motion by Darcy, second by Boyer to approve the
agenda. Hearing no objections, it was so ordered.
Mayor Pro Tem Heidt opened the public hearing and stated the
purpose of the hearing.
Deputy City Clerk Geri Davis stated that all notices required by
law have been provided and all written communications had been
distributed to the City Council and the public.
Associate Planner Mike Rubin gave the staff report regarding
Annexation No. 1992-03 (Seco Canyon), stating that there had
been one qualified written protest, which was not enough to
prevent the process of the annexation. The annexation
would consists of approximately 416 acres of inhabited land
located in the Saugus area, north of Copper Hill Drive, and east
and west of Seco Canyon Road.
Councilmember Boyer inquired into the validity of the written
protest.
Motion by Darcy, second by Boyer, to adopt Resolution
No. 97-44.
On roll call vote:
Ayes: Darcy, Boyer, Heidt
Noes: None
00, Absent: Klajic, Smyth
Resolution No. 97-44 adopted.
ADJOURNMENT Motion by Boyer, second by Darcy to adjourn the meeting
at 6:38 p.m.
Hearing no objections, it was so ordered.
