HomeMy WebLinkAbout1998-01-13 - AGENDA REPORTS - ADJUST BUDGET (2)CITY OF SANTA CLARITA AGENDA REPORT CONSENT CALENDAR DATE: January 13, 1998 City Manager Approval: Item to be presented by: SUBJECT: ADJUST TRANSIT DIVISION BUDGET TO REFLECT EXTENSION OF LOCAL TRANSIT SERVICE TO STEVENSON RANCH DEPARTMENT: Transportation & Engineering Services RECOMMENDED ACTION City Council approve increasing account number 4600/8081, Local Bus Service Contractual Services, by $195,000 and increase revenue account number 801/5053 by $195,000. RAM"C1_MIQ1 In June 1997, Los Angeles County requested that Santa Clarita Transit extend Line 35 to serve the Valencia Marketplace and Stevenson Ranch. The County will fund the full cost of this extension. Since this occurred after approval of the City's FY 1997/98 budget, the expense and revenue accounts were to be adjusted at the mid -year budget adjustment in December. These two adjustments were inadvertently excluded from the mid -year adjustments presented to the Council at the December 9, 1997 meeting. No alternative actions identified by staff. None.
