Home My WebLink About1999-06-22 - AGENDA REPORTS - LMD RENEWAL CONTR (2)CITY OF SANTA CI ARITA AGENDA REPORT CONSENT CALENDAR City Manager lc2 Item to be presented by: Wayne Weber DATE: June 22, 1999 SUBJECT: LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICTS FISCAL YEAR 1999-00 RENEWAL OF LANDSCAPE CONTRACTS DEPARTMENT: Parks, Recreation, and Community Services RECOMMENDED ACTION City Council authorize the renewal of contracts for maintenance and inspection of the districts, as well as for routine and emergency repairs described in the attached contract detail sheet contingent on the adoption of the 1999-00 Fiscal Year budget. BACKGROUND City Council has previously reviewed and approved the awarding of multi-year maintenance and inspection contracts for the various landscape districts listed in the attachment to this agenda report. This item requests the approval of the renewal of the contracts, and approval of the routine emergency repair work. ALTERNATIVE ACTIONS Other direction as determined by the City Council. FISCAL IMPACT Landscape Maintenance District expenses are funded through annual assessments. Funds for these expenditures have been included in the proposed 1999-00 budget in the Landscape District Account Nos. 7501-8001 through 7550-8001 pending Council adoption.
