SUBJECT: SIDEWALK PROJECT NO. P0014 — ADVERTISE FOR BIDS
DEPARTMENT: Field Services
RECOMMENDED ACTION
City Council approve the final plans and specifications and authorize staff to advertise for bids
for Project No. P0014001, to repair walkways at various City parks.
BACKGROUND
In the FY 98/99 budget, City Council approved a comprehensive Park Rehabilitation Program.
Project No. P0014, a component of the overall program, consists of replacing 18,185 square feet
of broken and cracked concrete areas identified by staff at various parks in the City of Santa
Clarita. This project includes repair of various walkways and building skirting throughout the
City's park system. Undertaking the repair project at this time allows for timely completion of
the work prior to the heavy summer season use of the City parks.
ALTERNATIVE ACTIONS
Other direction as determined by City Council.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available in Accounts M0025001 and P0014001 for this project.
