A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING A MULTI -WAY STOP INSTALLATION
AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF
COPPER HILL DRIVE/HASKELL CANYON ROAD,
AND GOLDEN VALLEY ROAD/GREEN MOUNTAIN DRIVE
WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Section 21354 allows local authorities
to designate any intersection under their exclusive jurisdiction as a multi -way stop
intersection; and
WHEREAS, traffic operation at the subject intersections would benefit from
such designation.
THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the following intersections are designated as multi -way
stop intersections, and all traffic shall stop before entering or crossing the intersection:

1. Copper Hill Drive/Haskell Canyon Road
2. Golden Valley Road/Green Mountain Drive
SECTION 2. That the multi -way stop designations, as provided herein,
shall apply when appropriate signs and pavement markings giving adequate notice thereof,
have been placed as described in Section 1.
SECTION 3. That staff install the necessary signs and pavement markings
to effect this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this22nt1 day of .Tana 1999.
