A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
CLARITA, CALIFORNIA, SHOWING THE PROPOSED BOUNDARIES
OF THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR CERTAIN PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS IN AN IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Santa Clarita (the
"City") is considering the formation of an improvement district, pursuant to the Municipal
Improvement Act of 1913, being Division 12 (commencing with Section 10000) of the
California Streets and Highways Code, for the construction of certain public works and
improvements together with appurtenances and appurtenant work and acquisitions of
rights-of-way in connection therewith, generally described as follows:
Installation of new pavement and base, curbs and gutters, sanitary sewer
system, local storm drain collection system within City rights-of-way, including
appurtenances and the necessary public right-of-way or public easement areas related
thereto, together with incidental costs and costs of issuing assessment bonds (the
"Improvements"); and
WHEREAS, the lands proposed to be specially assessed for the
Improvements shall be included within an improvement district designated:
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 99-1
(VERMONT DRIVE/ EVERETT DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS)
(the "Improvement District"); and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has received a map entitled:
PROPOSED BOUNDARIES OF
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 99-1
(VERMONT DRIVE, EVERETT DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS)
(the "Map of Improvement District") is showing the boundaries of the area proposed to be
assessed for the Improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Clarita does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The above recitals and each of them are true and correct.
SECTION 2. The Map of the Improvement District, a copy of which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 3. The original Map of the Improvement District and one copy
thereof shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.

SECTION 4. The Map of the Improvement District shall govern for all
details as to the extent of the Improvement District.
SECTION 5. A certificate evidencing the date and adoption of this resolution
shall be indorsed on the original Map of the Improvement District and on at least one copy
thereof
SECTION 6. Within fifteen (15) days after adoption of the resolution fixing
the time and place of hearing on the formation or extent of the Improvement District, a copy
of the Map of the Improvement District shall be filed with correct and proper endorsements
thereon in the Office of the County Clerk and Recorder, County of Los Angeles, pursuant
to Section 3111 of the California Streets and Highways Code.
