A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA
ACTING ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA
COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 99-1
CANVASSING THE RESULTS OF THE ELECTION
HELD WITHIN COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 99-1
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Clarita, California (the "Council')
has previously conducted proceedings pertaining to the formation of City of Santa
Clarita Community Facilities District No. 99-1 (Santa Clarita Business Park) (the
"CFD"), the designation of Future Annexation Area, the authorization of
indebtedness in the aggregate amount not to exceed $33,000,000 by the CFD, the
rate and method of apportionment of a special tax to pay the, principal, and interest
on bonds issued or other debt, and the establishment of an appropriations limit, and
the calling of an election in regard to the foregoing; and
WHEREAS, on November 9, 1999, an election was held within the CFD relative to
the authorization of $33,000,000 of maximum aggregate principal amount of
indebtedness to be issued by the CFD, the rate and method of apportionment of the
proposed special tax, and the establishment of an appropriations limit; and
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Council a Certificate of the Election
Official as to the Results of the Canvass of the Election Returns (the "Certificate of
the Election Official'); and
WHEREAS, at such election the proposal for incurring the bonded indebtedness, the
rate and method of apportionment and manner of collection of the special tax and .
establishing an appropriations limit for the CFD was approved by the qualified
electors of the CFD;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA,
ACTING AS THE LEGISLATIVE BODY OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA
COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 99-1 (SANTA CLARITA BUSINESS
PARK) does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. It is hereby determined that the election conducted within the CFD
was duly and validly conducted. The canvass of the votes cast in the CFD at the
special election held in the CFD on November 9, 1999, as shown by the Certificate of
the Election Official, is hereby approved and confirmed.
SECTION 2. The Council, acting as the legislative body of the CFD, is authorized to
levy the special tax on behalf of the CFD, as specified in Resolution No. CFD 99-1-1,
adopted by the Council on November 9, 1999.

SECTION 3. The Council is authorized to incur indebtedness on behalf of the CFD
within said CFD in the aggregate amount of $33,000,000.
SECTION 4. The Council is authorized to establish an appropriations limit for the
District.
SECTION 5. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
