HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-06-22 - RESOLUTIONS - WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NEGDEC (2)RESOLUTION NO. 99-131 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR THE WIRELESS COMMUNICATION ORDINANCE NO. 99-6 WHEREAS, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and declare: A. That an Initial Study has been prepared for the project and that said study found that no adverse impact, either individually or cumulatively, on wildlife as the same defined in Section 711.2 of the Fish and Game Code. B. That the proposed Negative Declaration was posted and advertised on February 8, 1999 in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and C. That the Planning Commission recommended approval to the City Council for the Negative Declaration on March 16, 1999; and D. Based upon foregoing facts and findings, the City Council hereby determines that a Negative Declaration is in compliance with State Law and the City's CEQA Guidelines, and reflects the independent judgement of the City and that the proposed project will not have a significant effect on the environment. SECTION 2. The Negative Declaration for the project is hereby approved and the Director of Planning and Building Services is hereby directed to file the Notice of Determination with the County Clerk of the County of Los Angeles.
