City Council appropriate $151,765.50, received from Los Angeles County as follows:

BACKGROUND
On September 14, 1999, City Council awarded a contract to Sikand Engineering Associates
for consulting services to update the Bridge & Thoroughfare Districts. The total contract
amount was $263,940.00, plus a 15% contingency. Los Angeles County agreed to pay half
the cost of the consulting services, in the amount of $151,765.50, from their Bridge and
Thoroughfare funds. These funds have now been received by the City and need to be
appropriated.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION
Other action as determined by the city Council.
MEAL IMPACT
City Bridge and Thoroughfare funds have already been appropriated for this project in the
Fiscal Year 1999-2000 budget. This action appropriates funds received from L.A. County.
