Home My WebLink About2000-06-27 - AGENDA REPORTS - LMD RENEW CONTR (2)CITY OF SANTA CLARITA AGENDA REPORT CONSENT CALENDAR DATE: June 27, 2000 City Manager Approval: Item to be presented by!- Wayne Weber SUBJECT: LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICTS FISCAL YEAR 2000-01 RENEWAL OF LANDSCAPE CONTRACTS DEPARTMENT: Parks, Recreation, and Community Services RECOMMENDED ACTION City Council authorize the renewal of contracts for maintenance and inspection of the districts, and for routine and emergency repairs described in the attached contract detail sheet, contingent on the adoption of the 2000-01 Fiscal Year budget. BACKGROUND City Council has previously reviewed and approved the awarding of multi-year maintenance and inspection contracts for the various landscape districts listed in the attachment to this agenda report. This item requests the approval of the renewal of the contracts, and approval for routine emergency repair work. ALTERNATIVE ACTIONS Other direction as determined by the City Council. FISCAL IMPACT Landscape Maintenance District expenses are funded through annual assessments. Funds for these expenditures have been included in the proposed 2000-01 budget in Landscape District Account Nos. 7501-8001 through 7550-8029, pending Council adoption.
