SUBJECT: PARCEL MAP NO. 24244 — APPROVAL OF THE FINAL MAP
(ROBERT A. AND LYNNE M. STEVENSON)
DEPARTMENT: Transportation & Engineering Services
City Council approve Parcel Map No. 24244; make findings as follows: (a) that this project
is consistent with the provisions of Sections 66474, 66474. 1, and 66474.6 of the Subdivision
Map Act and should be approved, and (b) that this proposed subdivision, together with the
provisions for this design and improvement, is consistent with the General Plan required by
Article 5 (commencing with Section 65300) of Chapter 3 of Division 1 of the Government
Code, or any specific plan adopted pursuant to Article 8 (commencing with Section 65450)
of Chapter 3 of Division 1 of the Government Code; instruct the City Treasurer to endorse
the Special Assessment Certificate on the face of the map for Parcel Map No. 24244, which
indicates that all special assessments levied by the City have been paid; and instruct the
City Clerk to endorse the Certificate on the face of Parcel Map No. 24244, which embodies
the approval of said map.
Tentative Parcel Map 24244 was granted approval by the Planning Commission on
September 19, 1995. This tract consists of approximately four acres and is being
subdivided into two lots. The tract is located north of Iron Canyon Road and is owned by
Robert A. and Lynne M. Stevenson. The conditions set by the Planning Commission have
been met, and fees have been paid as indicated on the attached Fact Sheet. The map has
been checked to the satisfaction of the City Engineer and is ready for City Council approval
and acceptance of the dedication.
No alternative action that would conform to requirements set forth in the Subdivision Map
Act are identified by staff.
