The objective of the lobbyist will be the following: • Arrange for the City of Santa Clarita to participate on task forces that develop allocation guidelines for Propositions 12 and 13 discretionary funds; • Provide support to Santa Clarita's Transportation Funding Coordinator in developing and implementing the state funding component for the central city roadway system, specifically, construction money for the Golden Valley Road flyover; • Seek funding for the construction of the city hall parking structure; • Explore funding options to assist in the groundwater clean up of the Porta Bella site; and • Search for additional funding for the City's aquatics center at the Sports Complex. If the contract is approved, Mr. Levy will meet with City staff and the Mayor to further define strategic approaches to the priority projects.
