HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-06-27 - RESOLUTIONS - EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION (2)RESOLUTION NO. 00-96 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA PROVIDING FOR THE COMPENSATION OF THE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY WHEREAS, Section 37206 of the Government Code requires the City Council to prescribe the time and method of paying salaries, wages and benefits for employees of the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized and directed, under provisions of the Municipal Code of the City of Santa Clarita, Section 2.080.060, the City Manager to prepare a proposed salary plan for all employees of the City and it has authorized and directed under the provision of Ordinance 88-52, Section 3.d., the City Manager to prepare and revise a position classification plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa Clarita as follows: SECTION 1. The position classification plan is hereby amended to include the following changes: Classification Change Deputy City Manager GIS Analyst- Grade 43 GIS Technician - Grade 38 Receptionist Clerk / Field Services — Grade 12 Environmental Services Coordinator - Grade 53 Administrative Clerk/ Environmental Services — Grade 22 H.R. Technician — Grade 32 Temporary Weekend Groundskeeper Temporary Maintenance Worker - $7.42/hr Grade 73 to Grade 45 to Grade 40 Reclassification to Administrative Clerk — Grade 22 Reclassification to Environmental Services Manager - Grade 55 Reclassification to Secretary -Grade 26 Reclassification to Administrative Analyst — Grade 39 Remove Classification to $10.06/hr SECTION 2. All prior resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict with this resolution are hereby rescinded. In PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Clarita at a regular meeting held on the 27th day of June 2000.
