A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA
AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF AN ADDITIONAL
NO -STOPPING ZONE ON THE NORTH SIDE OF
DEL MONTE DRIVE 170 TO 370 FEET
EAST OF GOLDCREST DRIVE
WHEREAS, the safety of the motoring public would be enhanced by the
additional prohibition of parking on the north side of Del Monte Drive 170 to 370 feet east
of Goldcrest Drive; and
WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Section 22507 provides for local
authorities to prohibit or restrict the stopping, parking, or standing of vehicles on certain
streets or highways or portions thereof during all or certain hours of the day.
THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That stopping, standing, or parking of vehicles during all hours
of the day shall be prohibited along the north side of Del Monte Drive 170 to 370 feet east of
Goldcrest Drive.
SECTION 2. That the prohibition of stopping, standing, or parking of
vehicles as provided herein shall apply when appropriate signs or curb markings giving
adequate notice thereof have been placed as described in Section 1.
