HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-02-13 - AGENDA REPORTS - EASEMENT SEWER FIRE SUBDRAIN (2)CITY OF SANTA CLARITA AGENDA REPORT CONSENT CALENDAR DATE: February 13, 2001 City Manager Approval: Item to be presented by: SUBJECT: SUMMARY VACATION, PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENTS (SEWER, FIRE LANE, AND SUBDRAIN), TRACT NO. 44965, WITHIN LOTS 17 AND 19 THROUGH 23 DEPARTMENT: Transportation & Engineering Services City Council adopt a resolution for the summary vacation of those public service easements (sewer, fire lane, and subdrain easements) as described on the attached Exhibit "A" and shown on Exhibit "B"; and direct City staff to record a certified copy of the original resolution in the office of the Registrar -Recorder of the County of Los Angeles. The subject sewer, fire lane, and subdrain easements were granted to the City of Santa Clarita on the map for Tract No. 44965 by the original developer/owner. A portion of the property was sold to a new developer, Santa Clarita Homes, LLC, who reconfigured the private drives so as to change the location of the existing easements on the lots stated. The relocated private drives and fire lanes on Lots 21 and 23 are also easements for subdrain maintenance purposes. New easements for fire lanes have been reserved and accepted by the City. These are consistent with the new location of the driveways. This item vacates the old easement, leaving the new easement in the correct location.
