SUBJECT: EZ ACCESS LLCIMCGRATH SCHOOL PROJECT AT
VALLE DEL ORO AND DOCKWEILER DRIVE
DEPARTMENT: Planning and Building Services
RECOMMENDED ACTION
City Council adopt an ordinance which approves Zone Change 00-002.
BACKGROUND
On July 10, 2001, the City of Santa Clarita City Council conducted a hearing on
the EZ Access LLC/McGrath School Project, which consisted of the City Council
approving the TTM 53114, associated entitlements and mitigated negative
declaration prepared for the project.
In addition, the City Council introduced an ordinance and passed it to a second
reading for tonight's meeting. The ordinance consisted of rezoning the project site
from RL (Residential Low), CC (Community Commercial) and PE (Private
Education) to RS (Residential Suburban) and expand the boundaries of the CC
zone. The applicant, EZ Access LLC is proposing to construct 53 homes on the
site, and expand an existing self -storage facility. A public elementary school is
also proposed to be constructed on the 53 -acre site.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA
APPROVING ZONE CHANGE NO. 00-002 (MASTER CASE 00-205)
FOR THE EZ ACCESS LLC DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
LOCATED WEST OF DOCKWEILER, NORTH OF VALLE DEL ORO AND EAST
OF EZ ACCESS SELF STORAGE
by the following vote:
AYES: Ferry, Smyth, Darcy, Kellar, Weste
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
A certified copy of the complete text of the ordinance is posted and may be read in the City
Clerk! --s Office, 23920 Valencia Boulevard, Suite 301, Santa Clarita, and/or a copy may be
obtained from that office.
