Therefore, budgeting for more frequent removal, on the order of every five to ten years, is recommended. The following annual budget for maintenance includes monthly inspection, landscaping and debris removal as well as annualized reserve funds for erosion control, sediment removal and revegetation and for hazardous material removal (if required) and for sediment clean-out of five outlets to San Francisquito Creek. The Site Specific Storm Drainage Pollution Abatement Fee will include an annual inflation adjustment in accordance with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Anaheim, for April of each year. There is a total of 5 outlets into the creek in Tract 44831 including two 84 inch pipes, one 42 inch pipe and one 24 inch pipe. None of these pipes are expected to carry significant amounts of debris in a 50 year storm event and the County of Los Angeles will maintain them from the first manhole and upstream of that. The City of Santa Clarita will maintain from the outlet in the Creek to the first manhole. The maintenance of the inlet and outlet in the Infiltration Basin is considered part of the maintenance of the basin as budgeted above.
