PROJECT ACCEPTANCE

RECOMMENDED ACTION
1. City Council approve the work performed by Los Angeles Engineering, Inc., on the Bouquet
Canyon Road Median Landscaping Project Number: B4005.
2. City Council authorize the City Clerk to file the attached Notice of Completion with the Los
Angeles County Recorders Office.
3. City Council authorize staff to release the 10% retention 35 days after the Notice of
Completion is recorded, provided no stop notices, as provided by law, have been filed.
BACKGROUND
In the Fiscal Year 2001-02 budget process, City Council authorized the design and construction
of Bouquet Canyon Road median modifications and landscape improvements. This project
included landscaping, irrigation, and stamped concrete between Centurion Way and Urbandale.
The City Council awarded bid to Los Angeles Engineering, Inc., on June 26, 2003. All work was
completed and the 90 -day maintenance period ended November 30, 2003.
ALTERNATIVE ACTIONS
No alternative action identified by staff.
FISCAL IMPACT
The project was completed within the City Council approved budget.
