The resolution you passed this passed year has aided us in showing elected officials that the space industry is a valuable asset. As we approach 2003, we would like to ask for your assistance once again. The California Space Authority would like you to pass a renewed resolution for 2003. We have already begun work on our Space Day here in Sacramento (March 18) and our Space Week in Washington DC (March 24 through 27). These events allow CSA to reach out to elected officials and educate them on the importance of space enterprise to our economy and our communities. It is our hope that your renewed resolution could specifically mention these events and your continued support for such endeavors. We have had great success with these events in the past and a renewed resolution from your community would provide us with another tool for our outreach. Again we thank you for the past support you have given and we look forward to working with you in the future. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at 916- 551-1543.
