SUBJECT: TRANSFER OF STORM DRAINS TO LOS ANGELES COUNTY FLOOD
CONTROL DISTRICT
DEPARTMENT: Transportation & Engineering Services
RECOMMENDED ACTION
City Council adopt seven resolutions for the transfer and conveyance of storm drains (see
attached list) to the Los Angeles County Flood Control District (LACFCD).
Project No. M0032 was established to support the transfer of outstanding storm drains to the
LACFCD. County procedures require that each storm drain transfer request be accompanied
by a resolution. The adoption of seven resolutions is requested at this time.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION
Other action as determined by the City Council.
FISCAL IMPACT
The City incurs a long-term fiscal benefit by transferring the maintenance responsibilities for
these storm drains to the Los Angeles County Flood Control District.
